Concetti was awarded with the supply of an innovative bagging and palletizing installation by Plastika Kritis, one of the largest Greek plastics manufacturers and one of the leading European producers of masterbatches.

The installation includes four FFS-E f-f-s machines that form, fill and seal the bags obtained by a polyethylene tubular reel. Each machine is capable of managing many different masterbatch products. The remarkable variation between the minimum and maximum bulk density (from 0,50 to 1,35 Kg/dm3) of each single product is easily managed in a few seconds thanks to the automatic format-change system featured by FFS-E. 

When a different reel size is needed, the reel change operations turn out to be easy and fast, with a significant reduction of the installation down time.

The four forming, filling and sealing machines are completed and customized by barcode printers to identify and classify the products, 45-degree sealing devices for the top and bottom corners of the bags to have square bags and a vacuumizing device to prolong the shelf life.

The bags coming from each FFS-E are led to an articulated PS-4A/15S-A palletizing robot – fitted with a special gripping clamp - that, according to the bag dimensions, executes specific programs to form the palletizing patterns.
